LEVEL I TRAINING

Online foundational classes equip students, intercessors, ministry leaders, future pastors, pastors and churches for powerful and effectual Christlike living. (See Level I Syllabus)

Goals:

In a world full of increasing violence and strife, to possess the pure, unoffendable heart of Jesus Christ.
To literally become the fragrance of Christ to God in every circumstance of life (see 2 Cor 2:15), thereby awakening both the Father's pleasure and His power.
By word, deed and the patience of wisdom, engender unity among the people of God.

Time frame to complete: six months.
Please Note: Level I MUST be completed in this time frame, paced with the term you are enrolled in.

DETAILED ENROLLMENT SPECIFICATIONS FOR LEVEL I:
Our home study curriculum is designed for self-disciplined Christians who study well independently and are seeking to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29). Students will be required to read 1-2 chapters per week received via email, listen to 1-2 audios per week and complete multiple choice and short questions at the end of each track (every 6 weeks). These will be submitted online and graded at the ICIT center. Scores are emailed to the students two weeks from the due date. For students who prefer to study in a group or class setting with a facilitator, this option is also available and discounted rates will apply. Tuition Plans

The tests are designed to help students assimilate the material they have read, as well as to stay focused on the final objective: attaining Christlikeness as a way of life. All students will need an email address in order to participate in this training.

Receiving emails is a crucial part of In Christ's Image Training Center. Some spam filters may prevent you from receiving important lessons and announcements. To ensure that you receive all of our emails, please add the domains inchristsimage.org and outgoing.frangipane.org to your email contact list or safe list.

When submitting final exams, students will be asked to sign a verification of completion at the end of each six-week track, indicating that they have completed all of the reading as well as listened to the accompanying audio messages.

ALL lessons are to be emailed from the training center only.

Students need to obtain a pastor's reference when facilitating a Level I group or when enrolling in Level II. Pastors and ministry leaders facilitating the course should submit a confidential reference from another pastor outside their fellowship. Four tracks are offered for Level I:

TRACK ONE: CHRISTLIKENESS (6 sessions, 12 chapters, 11 messages on CDs or MP3 downloads)
TRACK TWO: HUMILITY (6 sessions, 12 chapters, 11 messages on tapes on CDs or MP3 downloads)
TRACK THREE: PRAYER (6 sessions, 10 chapters, 8 messages on CDs or MP3 downloads)
TRACK FOUR: UNITY (6 sessions, 10 chapters, 9 messages on CDs or MP3 downloads)

These tracks run sequentially for six months (in the above order). The student who successfully completes all four final exams will receive a Certificate of Completion stating that he or she has completed the foundational classes. The goal of Level I is to remove the trappings and misdirection of mere religion, and simplify the vision of attaining Christlikeness. The student will also be positioned and strengthened in Christlike, "unoffendable" intercession for their families, churches and communities.

God's truth tells us that we are all called to be ministers of Jesus Christ; true ministry is not limited to what occurs behind a pulpit, but more frequently through our Christlike character in the home, the marketplace and neighborhood. We should think of ourselves as ministers of Jesus Christ, whether our mission field is our school, work, or immediate family. Those students already in full-time pastoral ministry or para church work will find their ministry focused and deepened as well.

As you receive certification, you will want to submit to your church leadership for accountability and serve your local church in whatever way the leaders deem appropriate and timely.

Level I classes begin with a new term the first Friday of January, April, July and October.

ICIT is approved for Biblical Studies CEUs with the Association of Christian Schools International as of 4/21/05. (CEU's are not retroactive prior to that date) Student graduating ICIT under the School License Plan are not elegible for CEUs.

Graduate students who desire ongoing association with other ICIT graduates, as well as fellowship with other like-minded Christians and churches, are invited to become part of Advancing Church Ministries Association of Pastors, Leaders and Intercessors.

In Christ's Image Training center is an inter-denominational ministry, created to bring Christ-centered unity in the Church.
